Water Wise Characters

The museum exhibit, written by an exhibit designer, called for three characters to serve as good and bad examples of "water wise" habits. Since the exhibit was geared toward children, and other parts of the exhibit featured the history of Gwinnett County's rivers, I initially thought of animals that live in southern rivers. When given the choice, the client preferred drawings of people in a "clip-art" style.
Allie Hurry-Up, who's always running late, wastes water by running her washing machine with one blouse at a time.
John Slow, who wastes water by rinsing his dishes before he puts them in the diswasher, effectively washing them twice.
Steve Smart, who uses water efficiently. His laundry and dishes are always clean, but he conserves water and saves money.
